About version

Test IT presents Centaurus 2.4! In the new version the usual reports are replaced with convenient dashboards, where you can add widgets with visualization of different types of data. Also Centaurus includes expanded capabilities for aggregation and analysis of autotest' results, integration with multiple projects in Jira, export test cases to .xls, and other improvements of UX.

Customizable dashboards

Now process and data reports are displayed in a custom dashboard format, where you can add widgets with different views, data sources, and groupings. New features are available for the trend widget, pie chart widget, and bar chart widget. You can display test data, results, test plans, and test runs on dashboards.

Trend and Pie chart widget

For the trend widget and pie chart, the ability to build based on the results of test cases with different groupings has become available, as well as the ability to group when building a trend based on tests has been expanded.

Bar Chart Widget

The bar chart can now be plotted from test plans and test runs. Expanded the ability to group data in such graphs.

Extension of list of priorities

The system now has two additional priorities for cases, now the total number of priorities is five. This allows you to prioritize cases more flexibly.

Analysis of the results of tests

When analyzing autotests, you can determine that the result is analyzed if the result data is reliable and does not require edits.

Aggregation of results of tests

When receiving the results of several autotests linked to a single test case, its result in the test plan is aggregated based on all the data received and contains all the links and attachments of the linked results.

Integration with Jira

It is possible to connect multiple projects in Jira to a single project in Test IT to create defects. When creating a defect, the system prompts you to choose which of the connected projects to save the task to.

Duplicate sections

The option of mass copying of test cases has been redesigned. Now you can copy not only test cases, but also sections, including their structure and content.

Other UX improvements

You can view historical version of tests in the Read Only format. All changes are saved in a convenient format.

You can export test data to .xls format. The “Shared Step" will expand into simple steps.
